Police solved sheep theft case in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR | NOV 14 (PTK): Police claims to have solved a sheep theft case in Ganderbal adding that the complaint  regarding theft of 20 sheeps was received by police station Ganderbal from Abdul qayoom S/O Fazal deen R/O: Shahpora Ganderbal on 31/10/2017.

SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone,   said that in this regard F.I.R no. 234/17 u/s 357,380 RPC was registered in Police station Ganderbal and an investigation team was constituted under the supervision of DySP Ganderbal Dr. Rameez Raja KPS, headed by Incharge SHO Police station Ganderbal DySP  (P) Shri Aakash Kohli KPS, for its quick disposal.

He added that by the efforts of investigating team (10) Sheeps were recovered from the possession of  Mushtaq Ahmad Kohli S/O: baza Kohli R/O: Astanmarg Dhara Harwan , Shabir Ahmad Reshi S/O : Gulzar Reshi R/O: khimber and 50 thousand cash of (10) Solded stolen sheeps and  one vehicle which was used to carry the stolen  sheep from accused persons was also recoverd.  Further course of investigation is in process.
