Appeals Govt to frame regularization policy
DODA, OCT 25 (PTK): To unite all NHM Employees under one platform, All J&K NHM Employees Association District Unit Doda hold meet at Block Hqr Ghat on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired under the Chairmanship of District President Faizan Ali Tramboo and Sr NHM Leader Dr Hamid Parray.
In the meeting, various issues and long pending demands of NHM Employees were discussed which includes immediate making of draft policy for regularization and enhancement of their salaries from 5% to 30% on yearly basis.
Speaking on the occasion, District President Faizan Ali Tramboo said that in the month of March 2017 after 14 days state wide strike, the State Govt has framed a committee to examine the genuine demands of NHM Employees and further they have been asked to submit their report to Govt for further course of action but unfortunately after lapse of around 06 months, no report favouring NHM Employees have been submitted, said Faizan Ali Tramboo.
Further Tramboo added that National Health Mission Employees working in Health Department since 2006 were awaiting for a regularization policy by the Govt but instead of solving our genuine issues, the previous as well as present regime is playing with our sentiments.
Sr NHM Leader Dr Hamid Parray, while speaking on the occasion castigates State Govt for adopting delaying tactics in addressing the long pending demands of NHM Employees. Dr Parray said that maximum of the NHM Employees working in J&K were found to be the bread earner of their families but unfortunately State Govt is not taking serious note of it.
Threatening to revive again the agitation throughout state, the NHM Union Doda urged the State Govt and Health Minister to intervene in to their issues and redress them at an earliest otherwise the NHM Employees will take extreme step for which the Govt will be held responsible. (PTK)
