Mir holds meeting to address public grievances in Shopian

SRINAGAR | (PTK): Member of Legislative Assembly, Advocate Aijaz Ahmad Mir from Wachi Constituency of south Kashmir today hold review meeting to discuss public grievances. He directs officials to install 25 transformers within a week.
Mir chaired a meeting at circuit house Shopian to review the function of PDD Shopian, other departments, especially in Wachi constituency. He stressed upon the officers to perform their duties with dedication so as to ensure continues and adequate power supply to the people of district
He asked the concerned department to carry out regular inspections in their respective areas for better service to the people and further directed them to devise better mechanism to serve people of far flung areas.
Mir also reviewed CDF released by Hon’ble CM (then MP) under MPLAD and MLA for installation of transformers and HT\LT electric wire and poles in Wachi constituency.
While talking to PTK, he said. “We had held a review meeting in which we all public grievances”.
Mir directs to provide power supply as per the schedule to avoid any inconvenience to the people. Mir said I have appealed authorities to provide 25 transformers which shall be installed within one week.
On the occasion all officials besides officials of Power Development Department were present to brief about the issues faced by the public.(PTK)
