Massive Search operation launched in Lolab Village

KUPWARA, Nov 15 (PTK): Government forces on Wednesday launched a major Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in kathpora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s kupwara district.

Reports said that army’s 28RR and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the joint operation in the area today afternoon.

They said that massive deployment of forces has been made in the town and house-to-house searches were going on.
SHO Sogam told PTK Correspondent over phone that the CASO was launched following “specific” inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Search operation was going on when last reports came in.(PTK)
