JKLF (R) expresses concern over vengeful attitude authorities against Kashmiri prisoners in Tihar Jail

SRINAGAR, OCT 04 (PTK):Expressing his deep grief and concern over the vengeful attitude of Tihar Jail authorities against Kashmiri prisoners, JKLF (R) secretary general Wajahat Bashir Qureshi said that such incidents are constantly being repeated to create fear psychosis among detainees and their families.

It is cowardice act, said Qureshi and while lamenting jail authorities demanded immediate shifting of all detainees languishing in outside state jails.

Appealing international organisation for their cognizance, Qureshi stressed for their intervention and due redressal in this regard.

Qureshi stated that its party chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar @ Bita Karete was arrested on July 25 and NIA detained him for no reason.

They are relying over media trial, said he and added that agencies in their pre-planned game plan are prolonging their detention for no reasons.

Shabir Ahmad Shah, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Nayem Ahmad Khan, and others were arrested after so-called sitting operation although no substantial allegation proved against them.

He alleged authorities for their inhuman attitude against detainees and said that no basic facility including medical treatment is provided to them. (PTK)
