Gunshots break night calm in Kulgam village

Gunshots were heard in Nilow village of Kulgam district of south Kashmir district late Saturday night.

Reports said that sound of gunfire was heard at around 10: 00 pm.

Sources said that Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men camped in the area fired some shots in the air after observing some suspicious movement.

They said that the area has been cordoned off.
