Controversies, contradiction between BJP-PDP leads to worst situation in valley: Monga

SRINAGAR, FEB 16 (PTK): Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and MLC G. N. Monga today said that People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and their ally Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has contradiction and controversies  over issue related to governance and politics.

He further said that on the one hand Mehbooba Mufti calls for talks between India and Pakistan to “End Bloodshed” in Kashmir adding that on the other hand leaders of their alley BJP are up arms against the talks. He said the controversies and contradiction   between BJP-PDP has led to the worst situation in valley.

 Monga said that Government of India (GoI) has no policy  to resolve Kashmir issue which led to the deteriorating situation the valley.

He further said that if govt of India don’t talk with Pakistan, then who will talk with Pakistan.  He added that there is no solution other than dialogue with Pakistan.

He said that if GoI really care about Kashmir they should start talk with Pakistan. “We always want peace between the two countries but perhaps India doesn’t want it. They think by shelling and cross boarder firings they can solve problem. That is never going to happen”, he said. (PTK)
