There were as many as 547 suicide deaths reported across J&K in last two years. The road accidents killed 958 persons in 2016 and 791 in 2017. As per details tabled in the state legislative assembly, Baramulla remains the suicide.

SRINAGAR, JAN 06 (PTK): Four policemen were killed in an IED blast in Sopore, north Kashmir on Saturday morning. Several shops were also damaged in the blast. Militants had planted the IED near a shop in a lane between the ‘Chotta Bazaar’ and ‘Bada Bazaar’ in Sopore in Baramulla district, a police officer said.
