All Horticulture Un-employment Graduates hold protest against lack of jobs in J&K.



If genuine demands were not fulfilled, will burn degree certificates: Un-employement Graduates


Srinagar, 07 Oct:(PTK).Hundreds of Horticulture un-employment graduate students of Jammu and Kashmir State have been protesting at Press Colony in Srinagar for the creation jobs in the horticulture sector.

“Students argue that while the state government notified jobs in agriculture and veterinary sectors, the same has not been done in the horticulture sector for the past 10 years”. While posts lying vacant in JKSSB for eligibility of Diploma Holders not for graduates, they added that even horticulture graduates are not eligible for any Non-gazetted nor for gazetted posts of the state of J&K.

“While protesting, a group of un-employments Students said that the J&K government has been implementing a lot of new schemes and technologies to uplift the horticulture sector in the state. But when it comes to the matter of employment, the opportunities are meager compared to other allied sectors like agriculture and veterinary”.

“Un- employment graduate students said that if their genuine demands were not be fulfilled then they will think to take a serious step and will burn degree certificates(PTK).
