AJKSCREF delegation meets Bushan Lal Dogra

Jammu, Sep 27 (PTK): A delegation of All J&K Scheduled Caste Retired Employees Forum (AJKSCREF) called upon the Vice Chairperson (MOS), J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Caste (JKSABWDSC), Bushan Lal Dogra.

The delegation led by president of the Forum G.L Thappa comprises of Sewa Dass Digra, Harbans Lal Angurana,   T.C. Bavouria,   H.R. Faunsa,   Hari Chand, G.L. Lakhnotra and G.D. Dogra. The delegation discussed various issues pertaining to ST Community.

Among other things, the delegation stressed on the need to keep strict check on the issuance of fake ST Category Certificates. The members also demanded constitution of Monitoring Committee for STs on the pattern of Scheduled Tribes and other issues pertaining to reservation.

The Vice Chairperson informed the deputation that the burning issues of the community  have already been discussed with the Chief Minister in the recent  Board Meeting and the government is take every step to resolve these.

The delegation and Board members also suggested valuable measures for the overall progress and uplift of SC Community. The Vice Chairperson assured the delegation that the board would provide all possible assistance to the community. (PTK)
