ADDC Ganderbal distributes aids, apparatus among CWSN


GANDERBAL, MARCH 17(PTK).-  One-day distribution camp under Inclusive Education for Disabled (IED) was conducted by SSA wing of Department of Education, Ganderbal here today.

During the camp, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) distributed 34 hearing aid devices, five wheelchairs, two tricycles, five C.P chairs, one braille kit and 10 MS kits among 56 identified Childs with Special Need (CWSN) students.

 (ADDC) Ganderbal N A Baba was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The main objective of the camp was to make people aware of different schemes of the Department of Education.

Speaking on the occasion, ADDC stressed on the need to work with more zeal and dedication and maintain transparency.

The ADDC Ganderbal directed the Chief Education Officer, to create awareness among the masses about the schemes being implemented by the Department for the upliftment of specially-abled students.

Students of various schools, specially-abled children and senior citizens were also present on the occasion(PTK).
