150 grams of heroin seized, drug peddler escapes custody in Jammu


Jammu | (PTK): A drug peddler managed to give police the slip while 150 grams of heroin was seized from a vehicle in R S Pura village on city outskirts here.
During routine patrolling late last night at village Agra Chak, a jeep bearing Punjab registration number, was found parked on roadside in which a man identified as Yudhveer Singh, alias Bablu S, of Agra Chak was sitting, police here today said.
They said that on seeing the patrolling party, he fled away from the spot taking an advantage of darkness leaving his vehicle but a packet in which 150 grams of heroine was recovered. (PTK)
